What's the relationship between digging holes to get back golf balls and my equipment?

Canon EOS 5D Mark IV.png

My new Canon EOS 5D Mark IV

And the day arrived, my lovely EOS 50D is now my second body. I had the chance to put my hands on this beauty, and I since I have it has been amazing. It has a LOT of features that I could just dream of with my old camera hahaha. So far so good, I hope this one, will last as much as my old camera.

Canon EOS 50D

My trusty Canon EOS 50D

This has been my camera since ever, but now it is my second body, due that work was asking for a newer and better one. Any way, this is a beast of a camera, with and excellent sealing (I put it to test when I got once washed up by a wave, and it survived). Perfect for almost every work when you put good glass in front. Till 1600 ISO you'll be fine.

GoPro Hero 4 Black

GoPro Hero4 Black

It's the first action camera I've bought. It amazes me the quality of image and video for such a small thing. You can't compare it to a DSLR obviously, but it works very well for the daily basis, and it weights almost nothing! It allows me to show you from my point of view the places I go to.

Canon EF 17-40mm f/4L USM

Canon EF 17-40mm F/4L USM

Was in the need of a wide angle lens without the distortion of a Fisheye, and got the chance to get this one. Fast AF, not as sharp as the 35mm but it gets decent results.

Sigma 35mm f:1.4 DG Art.png

Sigma 35mm F/1.4 DG Art

I'm sure you have already heard of the new Sigma lenses. They are great, I have nothing to say against, very sharp images, excellent build quality, pretty heavy for a 35mm, but just a great lens. If you're doubting about the internet reviews, I have to say that they are right, this lens is amazing.

Canon EF 70-200mm F/2.8L IS II

Badass looking, amazingly sharp, very fast AF, great IS system for panning. If you're a Canon shooter, and can afford this beast, buy it.

Canon Extender EF 1.4x III

When I'm shooting swimming, surf or another sport that is far away from my position, this comes in very handy.

Liquid Eye WaterHousing C1600

Finally! After years dreaming about it, I've got a waterhousing with 2 ports, one for the classic fisheye, and another for a standard lens. Stoked on it, I think I've been in the water more than on dry land since I bought it hahaha.

Canon 600EX-RT

Canon Speedlite 600EX-RT Flash

Flagship of the Canon Speedlites and works like it.

Yongnuo 622c

Yongnuo 622-C Flash Trigger

In combination with the Flash, you get an off camera flash that can be as far as 100m (tested). It's an economic way to get this kind of feature, this way I don't have to but some Pocket Wizards (yet).

Editing and Storage

Sandisk CF

Sandisk Extreme Pro Series Cards

Work horses, with an incredible write and read speed, ideal for shooting sequence pictures, and for the videos shooters it's great for filming in full HD and the next DSLR 4K cameras.

WD My Passport 2TB

When I'm out of home, this drive keeps all my copies in the case something happens. The only BUT I have is the USB 3.0 connector to the drive, it makes me go nuts sometimes.

WD My Book 4TB

Back at home it's my principal storage device. I think I'll need another one. *Recommendation: don't use Time Machine (Mac) because it will fill the drive really quick.

Macbook Pro Retina Display

Practical to work with it at home as on the go.

Organization and more Stuff

ThinkTank AA Battery Holder 8

It carries all my flash devices related batteries, and keeps them on their place.

ThinkTank DSLR Battery Holder 4

More batteries, it's just the ones from the camera now. I like it.

F-Stop Gear Elkhorn Pouch

If I'm traveling, it will hold all my cables and chargers, otherwise it usually has my GoPro stuff.

Peak Design Everyday Backpack.png

Peak Design Everyday Backpack (20L)

Wow! It's the first time I've had a lateral access backpack, but I have to say that it has become in a very short time, the backpack that I most use. Its design and practicality makes it a very versatile backpack. I use it for everything, from bringing my photo equipment, to go buy to the grocery store.

F-Stop Gear Sukha (70L)

Expedition backpack with a very good balance. Modular system called ICU (Internal Camera Unit), which can be changed for your optimal gear carry. I don't know how, but I've managed to bring this bag with me as carry on on low cost airlines. Of course, having the ICU on the hand and clothes on the backpack.

Peak Design Capture Pro

I have used this more than I thought I would. Very practical for putting the camera away if you have to do something, like changing lenses to walking handsfree.

Gitzo GM3551

Gitzo GM3551 Carbon Fiber Monopod

It's not a cheap monopod, but all its features make it a life time monopod. Light, twist system (quick opening and easy cleaning), carbon fiber, can be as 1,92 mts tall or 54 cms small, and supports a maximum load of 18 kilograms.

That's the work I did for a year to get my first camera...
